Uzbek Arbitration Week (UzAW) 2023

Language: Uzbek, Russian and English
Objective: (1) to discuss the latest status of the legal reforms in the field of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) involving leading experts who possess the requisite knowledge and experience on Uzbekistan and to submit the recommendations to the Government of Uzbekistan in the form of the roadmap for future development of ADR and successful implementation of the reforms in this field; (2) to raise awareness about the proper use of arbitration agreements and ADR mechanisms in Uzbekistan (3) to implement the capacity-building exercise for the local judges on various issues related to the enforcement of arbitral awards issued in Uzbekistan and abroad but which are sought enforcement in Uzbekistan; (4) to disseminate information and provide the access to the educational platform specially designed for Uzbek Arbitration Week for the the local talent to get access to all recordings/trainings and webinars conducted as part of the Uzbek Arbitration Week (law students, graduates and legal practitioners) with the objective to fill the gap of local arbitrators sufficiently qualified to arbitrate disputes.
